A loading shovel is a piece of heavy equipment machinery on wheels or tracks, used in construction to move aside or load materials such as asphalt, demolition debris, dirt, snow, feed, gravel, logs, raw minerals, recycled material, rock, sand, woodchip and more into or onto another type of machinery.
The Course is intended for:
Operators, supervisors or managers of loading shovels in both wheeled or tracked variations.
Course Aims & Objectives:
NWSAT will be able to provide trainees with the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate a wheeled or tracked loading shovel, delivered through a combination of classroom-based sessions and practical training, finishing off with the practical assessment.
